“For one week in the summer of 2016 I listened to an American artist and glassmaker called David King, who was instructing a group of us on how to blow glass. I was interested in his descriptive way of instructing, emphasising the body movement and focus. In order to remember the directions, and for the love of words and manual skill, I wrote the The Glass Blowers Instructions. I mostly make sculpture and installations, occasionally photographs and drawings.”
