“You are a great teacher, managing to be both relaxed and quite disciplined simultaneously! Maggie and Andrew were perfect hosts, and I have raved about the whole thing to everyone I know since my return. ” - Sam Russell, course participant, June 2012

Landscape Inspired Glass Painting Course in Maenclochog.

Rachel Phillips and I are currently planning this course which will run in spring 2013 from our studios in the Preseli Hills. Taking our inspiration from the stunning landscape of Pembrokeshire we will be making field trips to sketch, gather material and ideas to use in the studio.

Rachel is an experienced glass painter who lectures in glass painting at the Department of Architectural Glass, Swansea Metropolitan University. I have been a painter for more than 30 years and have been exploring glass as a medium for the past 6 years. We recently collaborated to make 3 stained glass windows for Conwy Castle in North Wales.

This course is suitable for glass artists wanting to expand their painting skills, and painters looking to explore glass as a medium.

The course is non-residential, but we can advise you of suitable local accommodation. Fees include an introductory evening meal on the day of arrival, 4 days tuition, basic materials, firing costs float glass and lunches.

Costs 525 pp.

Please get in touch if you are interested.

Personalised vouchers can be purchased for all courses.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
