I opened my own gallery here in Pembrokeshire after my daughter was born 11 years ago. Initially it was born out of the impossibility of driving up and down the M4 transporting paintings to galleries in Cardiff, London and Bath with a small baby in tow. So we opened our house to visitors and put home-made leaflets around the county. In 2004 we bought the old bakery in the village of Maenclochog in the Preseli Hills and converted it into a studio and gallery space.

Over the years we have had over 2500 visitors, and we find that people like to relax with a cup of coffee and look at my work in the heart of the landscape which is my inspiration.

Children are welcome in the gallery, we have toys, and there is a playground opposite.

How to find us
From Cardigan and Newport ...
From the A487 Cardigan to Fishguard road, take the B4329 near Eglwyswrw, signposted Haverfordwest. Travel for 7 miles until you get to the crossroads with the B4313. Turn left to Maenclochog. After 2 miles you come to the village of Maenclochog. The gallery is in the village on the left, just after the school.

From Fishguard
From Fishguard town centre roundabout take the A487 road towards Cardigan. After about 500 yards turn right onto the B4313, signposted Maenclochog. Follow all signs to Maenclochog. After 101/2 miles you come to the village of Maenclochog. The gallery is in the village on the left, just after the school.

From Haverfordwest
On the roundabout by Safeways, take the B4329, signposted Cardigan. Follow the signs for Cardigan and travel for 12 miles until you come to the crossroads with the B4313. Turn right and after 2 miles you come to the village of Maenclochog. The gallery is in the village on the left, after the school.

From Narberth
From Narberth take the B4313, signposted Redstone. At the junction with the A40 continue on the B4313 signposted Fishguard and Maenclochog. Follow signs for 7 miles until you come to Maenclochog. At the T-junction, turn right. The gallery is on the right, just after the church.
