“A most enjoyable week: Pembrokeshire is a magical place with spectacular landscapes. Linda’s patient, generous and supportive approach makes the whole experience fun, I will leave with much more of a toolkit to use in the future.” – Nikki Lindsey
I trained in Fine Art at UCW, Aberystwyth, where I graduated in 1981 with a BA (Hons). Since then I have developed my practice and exhibited widely, including showing work at Adam Gallery in Bath, New Academy Gallery in London and Martin Tinney Gallery in Cardiff. I currently show work in my own studio gallery in Pembrokeshire.
I am an experienced teacher and have been running practical workshops for over 20 years for people of all ages and with diverse learning needs. As a painter I aim to help you explore landscape-based abstraction with mixed media and I teach a rigorous approach to colour observation. I aim to help you free your technique and give you an immersive experience that will fill you with enthusiasm and skills to take back into your painting at home. The emphasis is on playing and having a relaxing experience.
My courses are suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. There will be a relaxed atmosphere and the aim of the course will be free your technique and explore landscape-based abstraction with mixed media. You will have an immersive experience that will fill you with enthusiasm and skills to take back into your painting at home.
I currently offer several courses a year catering for both beginners and more experienced artists. Please contact me if you are interested in coming on a course or would like to arrange a course for your painting group.
